SSOC series of outdoor cutouts include mode workmanship with reasonable structure, fine characteristic. The products are applied safely to protect overload current. The products are applied mainly as protective equipment in 12kV-36kV AC power system i.e. Overload and short fault protection of transformer sin power supply lines and, in addition, function as capacitor aggregate and outdoor switch and can switch on/off the rated current.

SUMMARIZATION

Structural components and advantages of SSOC type drop type fuses.
1. The overall structure of SSOCo-12/200-16 series fuses is rigorously and reasonably designed, with well-designed materials, rigorous assembly process, stable and reliable fitment of all parts, and flexible operation. This not only guarantees the reliability of the product operation, but also ensures that the operator can work easily and conveniently.
2. The fused tubes of SSOC (NCP) series fuses have high breaking capacity, excellent electrical characteristics and insulation strength, as well as excellent mechanical rigidity and self-cleaning ability. The outer surface is made of Devthane 389, which is resistant to moisture, corrosion and ultraviolet rays, and can effectively prolong the service life. Adoption of double-end step-by-step air venting structure enhances short-circuit and current disconnection capability, solving the problem of short-circuit and current disconnection.

3. The parts of SSOC (NCP) series fuses are made of high quality materials and mature and stable hot zinc plating technology. The insulating posts are bird-proof type insulators using high-quality electrical and silicone rubber insulation materials with a wide service distance to suit different environments. The optimized structural design effectively prevents birds from falling on the insulating posts. The mounting inserts are bonded to the insulators with a unique inorganic adhesive that does not expand and can withstand the electric forces generated by strong fault currents and the impacts of line operators when closing. The conductive parts are made of pure copper and highly resilient conductive copper alloys, and the top and bottom fixings are of solid cast copper construction, providing an integrated structure to resist the effects of shaking, bouncing, or unraveling caused by large impacts during operation. The parts are corrosion-proofed by hot-dip zinc plating process. Stainless steel is used for those parts where hot-dip zinc plating cannot guarantee the rotation required by the fit requirements.
4. The base of SSOC (NCF) series fuses consists of a drop-in mechanical structure and insulators. The metal rods of the mounting mechanism are specially bonded to the insulators and blown up to withstand the electromotive force generated by the short-circuit breaking current. The whole mechanism of the product is well centered, easy to install, safe and reliable.
5. SSOC (NCP) series fuses has superb mechanical performance and fault breaking capacity. Used in conjunction with fusible links, they can provide full-range fault protection for transformers, capacitors, cables and circuits in the distribution system, with simple and easy installation and removal of fuses, reliable stripping action, regardless of the fault current level; and have a short-circuit fault-breaking capacity of 16 kA.

APPLICATION

The purpose to use cutout is to provide protection to the lines of power supply system and the various apparatus ant those lines such as transformers and capacitor banks. The provide reliable protection from low-level overloads that just melt the fusible link, intermediate faults, and very high faults, through maximum interrupt capacity. In addition, Type SSOC-3 cutouts can also be used
As a sectionalizing device, With the use of a portable loadbreak tool, Type SSOC-3 cutouts can function much like an overhead disconnect switch. There are 300 amp disconnect blade.

CHARACTERISTICS
